Longfellow Bridge - Passengers Abandon Red Line


A trash fire at Park Street Station stalled service on the Red Line at the peak of rush hour. Firefighters cut power to the third rail to investigate. Chaos ensued.

No, shame on the MBTA for abandoning its passengers. I suggest you share these photos with The Boston Globe. This is a crazy example of a dangerous lack of MBTA oversight and communication!

Definitely send these to the Globe. Yes, it's "last week's news" but they might well use them. And oh, the muckracking Herald would have a field day with this!

There are also the two free papers...
